FTP 12 mini Pannier

Sometimes you need a bit more space than a “conventional” seatbag. You may want a few more clothing options on a three month tour than you take on a two week dash somewhere, but don’t want to be weighed down by full size panniers.
So FTP may stand for Fast Tour Pannier?

Or maybe you are (like me) a bit vertically challenged, which can limit your ability to carry a seat bag (i can, just, and I mean only just, squeeze a 14L Apidura seat bag on. Most of the other commercially available bags simply don’t fit.

So FTP may stand for For Tiny People?

You decide.

And the 12? Well, they each hold 12 litres of water (with rolltop done up). They hold the same amount of gear as my 14 litre seat bag, without the need to cram every thing in. 
So you don’t have to spend extra time tightly packing bags, or fill them up, which gives you plenty of space for supplies for those long sections between resupply. 

Features

Made from X Pac VX21, the panniers have a tail light holder at each end and reflective piping all round. They are designed to stay on the bike, which gives you two handy shopping baskets for those trips to town. Held on by webbing ties.

The drybags are VX21 with seam-taped joints. The roll top buckle is also a whistle and the roll top ends have a D loop so they can be used as a hanging bag to secure your food from Bears and other animals. 

Check out the removeable straps to enable the drybag to be used as a backpack, so you can take that walk in the park. Lock also available to secure the bags to the bike. 

Colours and availabilty

Standard pricing is for Black panniers with Slate Grey bags. We will put up photos of current stock, but feel free to email any colour specific requirements. Current colours are Purple, Red, Mulberry, yellow, Hot Pink and the standard Black and Slate.

700 grams per pair. That includes both panniers and bags and the straps to secure to rack
